Ministry of Caring
The Ministry of Caring (MOC) has been an active volunteer ministry in partnership with Trinity Ecumenical Parish for about six years. As with all ministries at RCC, it too, has been a “work in progress”. Ministry of Caring volunteers coordinate support services during times of need, such when someone is ill, injured, or has been in the hospital, or is overwhelmed with caregiving activities. Services may include meals, transportation, visitors, or sitters. Volunteers can also help with errands and other tasks, as we are able. We hope members of RCC will volunteer to assist MOC in providing support to others in our church community. We encourage volunteers to do what they like to do. If you hate to cook, you will not be asked to cook!! We also have a need for MOC Group Leaders to help coordinate these services. We already have great representation from Resurrection! The good thing is that we are well organized. We have lots of experience. There is training, and there are over 200 people who have already signed up to help! If you would like to help with this ministry, pick up a volunteer form located outside of the Parish Nurse Office or at the Ministry Fair. We are a Ministry of Caring parish!
